By title, I am a Full Stack Data Scientist. In practice, I like to build.

I started my undergrad career with a dual degree in Physics and Optics from the University of Rochester. I then did my Ph.D. in physics at the Joint Quantum Institute at the University of Maryland, where I worked on ultracold atoms in optical lattices. During this time, I started working with python and learning about Data Science and Machine Learning. I was fortunate enough to be able to compbine there with an interest in finance to begin contributing to an Open Source project, Gamestonk Terminal. This lead to me eventually becoming part of the founding team at OpenBB, helping grow it from a community project into a venture-backed company. In 2025 I joined International Consulting Associates as a Full Stack Data Scientist, bringing my skillset to the government contractor side.

Now I work on building production AI systems end-to-end and developing Data Science solutions for government clients. I'm currently leading the development of Vursa, where I work across the full stack — front end, backend, deployment, data science, LLM technologies. In addition to that I contribute to many of our client facing workstreams. This includes document processing, building data pipelines, implementing signal detection algorithms, building out search functionality. If there's a problem to solve, I'm usually somewhere in the mix.

Outside of work, I'm either spending time with my family - 2 daughters (Girl Dads FTW) and 2 dogs, or more likely, watching Sports. I am an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, the New York Yankees, and the Buffalo Sabres.
